Bubble yens

Long time, no mew!

This is a chill post guys, no philosophy class today I'm afraid. Nvm -.-

So here I am, on my cigarette break at 4pm, one hour before finishing work, finding myself on a bench paying my monthly rent and I think to myself: I wish I was rich...

So funny thing, probably everyone thinks about being rich and successful now and then, yah know...except the people who are already rich and successful, but they for sure wish for other things as it is in our human nature to forever be unsatisfied. So let's call the ones wishing to be rich and successful hmm... yens.

So the majority of the people are yens; so my question is: how come there are yens who act on it and those who don't? I mean, if you think about it, it's not that hard to try at least, if you want to be rich and successful you have to at least try right? Ambition you say....let's be honest, if you want a bag of chips cause you crave it, your level of ambition is not that important, you go to the store and buy that bag of chips. If you don't have money, you try to find a way to make money for that bag of chips, and if you can't, well at least you tried!

Why aren't people applying that chain of thoughts when they want money and success? 

It can be as hard as you make it to be.

So what is the difference between yens that don't act on their desires and those that do?

Well most probably the bubble of comfort that they live in, the comfort zone. They don't want to disrupt the bubble in any way because they fear about the possibility that it's going to be worse.

This doesn't apply to yens only, but can apply to many that have wishes and desires. 

This is not a bad thing necessarily, as in many cases it's obvious that the comfort zone is safer.

Do you want to find out what is the best decision to make? Answer this to yourself:

Do I prefer living with this constant, safe but unsatisfying at times life or do I want something else, risking it to be worse, but there is a possibility that it might be better.

I have a bad habit to over-analyse everything, but just because I like to make sure I take the best possible decisions in my life without regrets.

So this yen is going to do something about it! I'm going to be rich and successful!! you'll see.
